Three types of sound cards we can find for computers 1.onbroad 2. pci sound card 3. usb sound adaptor. if we get sound in your personal computer or laptop we required sound card and speakers.in laptop on board sound chip and small speakers installed in built. we know by these we can listen music and record sounds in your computer. if sound chip not working or sound chip device drivers (software} not installed you can't get sound. but computer will works.

Now a days sound chip built in mother board , no need to installed external pci sound card, in built sound card in the mother board called onboard sound card. onboard sound system provide very good quality sound.
PCI SOUND CARD
we have fix this card into the pci slot as a stand-alone card. internal pci sound cards gives good quality of sound and high performance then onboard sound system.
blue colour socket line in, pink colour socket mic input. green colour socket is speaker out.
USB SOUND ADAPTOR
It is small, we can carry any where. very easy to plug and play. but sound is quality normal.
